Frequently asked questions
Are fees worth paying?
A deal with a fee can still be cheaper if its rate is lower. Compare the total cost over the fixed period: the calculator includes the fees in the saving.
Product transfer or remortgage?
A product transfer with your current lender is quicker and usually needs no new affordability checks; a new lender may offer a lower rate but takes longer.
